If you have forgotten your PIN, NO PROBLEM!

retrieve your PIN by sending a sms: TUT <student number> to 35655 eg. TUT 210022643
you will receive the following SMS:
“Your PIN to access ITS mobile services Smartphone apps and SMS is <PIN>”
if you send the sms from a cell phone number not registered to you in the ITS Student System , you will receive the following SMS:
“Your ITS mobile security credentials have been sent to <student cell> . To change your registered cellphone number, call 086 110 2421 or use the TUT selfhelp.”

4. If you are using a cell phone that is not listed above, follow the instructions below:

Step 1: retrieve your one time PIN (OTP) for non-smart phones by sending a sms: <TUT>space<student number> to 35655 eg. TUT 210022643

Step 2: you will receive the following SMS:

“Your PIN to access ITS mobile services via Smartphone apps and SMS is <OTP>. This OTP will be valid for 7 days.
if you send the sms from a cell phone number not registered to you in the ITS Student System , you will receive the following SMS:
“Your ITS mobile security credentials have been sent to <student cell> . To change your registered cellphone number, call 086 110 2421 or use the TUT selfhelp.”
